"Emanuel H. Bronner was born to a family of soap makers in Germany in 1908. Dr. Bronner pleaded with his family to leave Germany and come to America but he could not convince them and they stayed. He later received a postcard from his father simply saying “You were right—your loving father” and never heard from them again. They perished in the Holocaust.
Dr. Bronner became more zealous and vocal about his religious philosophy that he called the All-One-God-Faith. When you look at a bottle of Dr.Bronner's castile soap, you notice the label is full of tiny words and quotes about needing the world to unite before it destroys itself. I redesigned the label and created a typographic system, so people can recognize and read his philosophy on the labels of each bottle.”
